Cuba St Carnival
Conceptualised in 1998 with the inaugural event staged in 1999 the Cuba St Carnival became one of New Zealand's most celebrated cultural events. It was established to celebrate a unique part of Wellington which is a melting pot for start-up business, young designers, the creative and arts industries.
In its 10 year history it staged seven events and become New Zealand's largest street festival attracting over 150,000 people, involving around 10,000 volunteers, performers and workers. Chris Morley- Hall was the founder and managing artistic director.
