Films by Starlight

Started in 1999 by Koko, films by Starlight is New Zealand’s longest running outdoor cinema growing from year to year. The events, which celebrate Wellington as the centre of the New Zealand film industry, are  a popular summer series of outdoor cinema on a giant inflatable screen, complete with markets and music which travels to communities around the Wellington Region many of whom often miss out  on events. Programming showcases independent New Zealand film makers alongside well known blockbusters.
